See Tracy Morgan Perform in Oklahoma

Longtime comedian, Saturday Night Live cast member and 30 Rock character, Tracy Morgan is making only two stops in Oklahoma on his Picking Up The Pieces Tour, and Riverwind is proud to host Tracy Morgan during his time in Oklahoma.

Although Morgan was left critically injured in 2014 after an auto accident involving a tractor-trailer, he has fought his way back into the career he loves—comedy. After months of rehabilitation, Tracy returned in an exclusive interview with TODAY Show’s Matt Lauer where he expressed his grief for the incident as well as his goals to come back to the entertainment world.

In a letter to WhoSay, Morgan writes,

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve used comedy to deal with anything that’s come my way. I figure it’s why God gave me my sense of humor. After all, if you don’t laugh, you’re going to cry. So I decided to go back on tour. Even after everything I’ve been through, all those hardships, I knew it was time to go out there and feel the pulse of the people. And being back on that stage again . . . just incredible. It’s like a rebirth”

Early reviews reveal that his comedy is as sharp and hilarious as ever. Morgan doesn’t shy away from his collision, and uses his blunt comedic approach to crack jokes about the accident, his time in the hospital and his recovery.

In his open letter, Tracy Morgan tells his fans,

“I love you all. I can’t wait to come to a city near you and give you that real ‘Tracy Morgan’ flavor. This tour, it’s the experience of my life. So let’s pick up the pieces!
