Thirteen years. Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday we were cutting the ribbon to our new casino, excited to bring the best gaming experience to the Oklahoma City metro. Since then, we’ve grown to more than 2,900 games, 1,000 employees and 287,000 square feet of THE BEST gaming and entertainment in town! As we enter our teen years, we wanted to take a look back at a few of the most significant changes here at Riverwind Casino and look ahead to how we’re celebrating!

13 – From a patch of land on the south banks of the Canadian River, Riverwind Casino was born in August 2006, changing the landscape of gaming in OKC forever.

12 – Three of Oklahoma’s biggest sports legends by the names of Owen, Sims and White work together to open Autographs Sports Bar in 2007. You may know it now as Chips ‘N Ales, where you can find delicious traditional pub fares like Scotch Eggs and hand-cut chops.

11 – Stay and Play goes next level with the addition of our 100-room boutique hotel in 2009, located just steps from your favorite games.

10 – How about an upgrade? Just five years after opening its doors, the Riverwind Hotel adds 42-inch LCD flat screen televisions in every room.

9 – Great food, live music and a fun time for everyone! We set out to host the biggest food truck and concert series in Oklahoma City, establishing Beats & Bites in 2016.

8 – Riverwind’s WINniversary debuted in August 2016 as we turned 10 years old, giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, cars and prizes.

7 – Willows Buffet gets a facelift and becomes The River Buffet, offering dozens of new culinary treats with your favorite classics in 2018.

6 – Riverwind partners with COOP Ale Works to present Beats & Bites in 2019, the fourth consecutive year of live music, delicious food and family fun.

5 – Close out the summer at our final COOP Ale Works Beats & Bites festival of the year with live entertainment from Haywire and country music superstar John Michael Montgomery!

4 – Carry on with classic rock icons KANSAS, live at the Showplace Theatre on Aug. 30.

3 – Join us Saturday, Aug. 24 for your chance to drive away in a 2020 BMW 230i convertible as part of our $225,000 RiverWIN WINniversary.
