If laughter is life’s best medicine then the Showplace Theatre is OKC’s finest pharmacy, because the laughs keep coming here at Riverwind! For years, our stage has been graced by the hottest comedians in showbusiness, leaving audiences chuckling long after the curtains have been drawn. From Larry the Cable Guy’s “git ‘er dun” to the swag of Sinbad, we’ve seen a generation of America’s funniest stop by for unforgettable evenings at the Showplace Theatre. A few other names you might recognize that have performed at Riverwind include Bill Engvall, Joel McHale, Wayne Brady and Frank Caliendo!

Ron White – Nov. 1

The scotch-drinking, cigar-smoking Texan known as Tater Salad brings more than 30 years of comedy experience to the Showplace Theatre. Known for his mantra, “you can’t fix stupid,” he offers an unapologetic look at life, all while selling out venues around the world. He’ll be here for two shows on Nov. 1, 7 PM and 10 PM.

Jim Gaffigan – Nov. 15

Seven stand-up specials and more than 25 years of experience grace Jim Gaffigan’s illustrious comedy career, and much of it has dealt with the things he loves most – his family and his food. Hear his observations on life when he heads to town for two shows on Nov. 15, 7 PM and 10 PM.

Chris Tucker – Jan. 18

One of Hollywood’s biggest names, Chris Tucker has stolen the silver screen in blockbusters like “Rush Hour,” “Jackie Brown” and “Friday.” Now you can see him live in Norman in January 2020.

Jay Leno – March 27

Before he became a worldwide sensation when he took over for Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, Jay Leno was performing stand-up more than 300 nights a year. He’s returned to his roots talking cars and comedy all around the world, including the Showplace Theatre, March 27.
