Get to Know Our Team: Holden H.

On any given day at Riverwind Casino, you’ll find our dedicated team members across the casino floor making someone’s day a little more special. Recently, we sat down with our player services manager, Holden H., to get to know him a little better.

Thanks for taking the time for us to get to know you! To kick things off, why don’t you describe your role here at Riverwind?

I am the player services manager here at Riverwind Casino. The role of Player Services is to see that each guest is greeted with a warm welcome and assist them in every way possible. We have a wide range of offers our guests can earn through our Tiered Card program by using their Wild Card including Bonus Play, hotel stays and free meals. The Player Services team works diligently to ensure the guests receive offers they’ve earned in a timely manner to increase the overall experience of their stay.

How did you get into doing this? Was it something you always wanted to do or was it something that found you?

I’ve always been intrigued with marketing as a business aspect, which led me to complete my bachelor’s degree in business at USAO. My family worked with the Chickasaw Nation when I was growing up, so I already knew the great opportunities for which I could use my degree.

What does a typical day in the life of a Player Services Manager look like?

I meet with my employees across all three shifts to pass along information and give everyone a chance to give feedback on how our guests are reacting to offers and promotions that we provide.

It sounds like your days are full of new adventures! What’s your favorite thing about Riverwind?

The first thing is our employees. We wouldn’t be able to do so much for our guests or be as successful without the effort that is put forth by each employee daily. Second is all of the amenities that we can offer to our guests to thank them for being a loyal player.

One thing we’re known for here at Riverwind is our great entertainment lineup. Have you seen anyone recently at the Showplace Theatre that you enjoyed?

Third Eye Blind. Yup, I’m a 90s kid!

To finish up, can you tell us a few fun facts about yourself?

I love putting together computers and pricing the different components to discover the best personal computer I could build on a low, medium and high budget. I also like fixing a wide variety of things from home appliances to vehicles.
