12 Days of Riverwind Christmas

With the Christmas tree decorated and all of our stockings hung with care, ‘tis the season for festive fun at Riverwind! We’re counting down the days until Christmas with 12 days of holiday excitement happening here and around Norman.

1. Norman WinterFest
Christmas comes alive at Legacy Park on Dec. 14 when the Norman Parks and Recreation Department hosts WinterFest 2019! Enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, inflatables and plenty of holiday activities, capped off by the official Christmas tree lighting ceremony, courtesy of the Wells Family Christmas Tree Farm.

2. Concerts at Riverwind
There’s never been a better time to catch a show at the Showplace Theatre! Upcoming entertainment includes Travis LeDoyt on Jan. 4, Neal McCoy on Jan. 10 and Chris Tucker on Jan. 18.

3. Sam Noble Museum Holiday Happening
Cookie decorating, winter games and pictures with Santa are just a few of the exciting activities for the family at Holiday Happening, Dec. 5.

Get in the Christmas spirit with The Zielinski Singers at McFarlin Memorial UMC as they perform seasonal music to celebrate the 56th Annual Candlelight Carol Service, at 7 PM on Dec. 8

7. Sooner Theatre presents “ELF: The Musical”

Experience Christmas’ most iconic tradition – with a twist! The Norman Ballet Company presents “The Oklahoma Nutcracker,” featuring guest artists from the New York City Ballet Company, at the Nancy O’Brian Center for the Performing Arts on Dec. 21 and 22.

12. Ring in the New Year at Riverwind
