Oklahoma City native Megan Mullally and hubby Nick Offerman recently hit the road with their joint comedy tour, “Summer of 69: No Apostrophe.” On July 30, they’ll make their way to Riverwind’s Showplace Theater for an evening of risqué comedic banter.
This raunchy comedy tour is sure to make you laugh and will certainly make you blush. No, really. In Mullally’s own words, guests will have “at least 30 seconds to settle in,” before things get raunchy. Hey, at least they aren’t shy about the show’s risky subject matter.
Since the age of six, Mullally has called Oklahoma City home. She’s thrilled to return to the Sooner State with her husband to bring laughter to her fellow Oklahomans. Mullally spent a few years gaining experience in television acting before landing a main role as the spunky Karen Walker on NBC’s Will and Grace. The role paved the way for a successful career in television and comedy.
Offerman made his mark as Ron Swanson on NBC’s hit TV show, Parks and Recreation. His deadpan characterization of Ron Swanson’s anti-bureaucratic beliefs (despite being a government employee himself), had critics comparing him to Seinfeld’s Cosmo Kramer as one of the best comedic characters in decades of prime-time.
Offerman and Mullally have worked together several times throughout the years. In the “Summer of 69: No Apostrophe” tour, the dynamic duo once again combines their powers for comedy gold. The pair will spend the evening exposing the salacious details of their fiery union featuring songs, jokes, heavy ribaldry, light petting and an astonishing final act of completion.
