Featuring some of the most renowned alternative rock pioneers and personas, the Summerland Tour is back and charting a crash course to rock Riverwind Casino.
At the helm, alt icons Everclear are sure to spur both nostalgia and non-stop excitement with a catalog spanning eleven studio releases including mega hits like “Santa Monica,” “Father of Mine” and tour namesake “Summerland.” “By mixing it up and digging into the catalog, it still makes it fun and relevant for us, and I think for the fans as well,” says frontman Art Alexakis. This punk powerhouse was formed in 1991 and is a Gen X staple, refining a sound that’s both unique to its era and exceptionally Everclear.
Having graduated from the angst of high school anthems, Wheatus find themselves 20 years removed from the days of the “Teenage Dirtbag” but the festivities are far from over. For the anniversary of their breakthrough album, these early aught icons are at it again ready to tear up the stage with singles like “Break it Don’t Buy It,” “Truffles” and of course “Teenage Dirtbag.”
Influenced by every genre from free jazz to funk to hard rock and heavy metal, Living Colour are at the essence of early alternative rock and a true classic within the category. From their breakthrough release “Vivid,” this band has charted the Billboard with hits like “Cult of Personality,” “Glamour Boys,” and more. With a discography covering three decades, this legendary act is sure to excite fans from any era.
Hoobastank are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut studio album, making millennials everywhere feel every bit of their age. To commemorate this keystone of the post-punk era, we’ll celebrate with hits like “Crawling in the Dark,” “Running Away,” and the teary-eyed inspirational anthem “The Reason.”
